The Cabin Crew Centered “C”-Galley selected as a finalist for the Crystal Cabin Award 2026

On February 12, 2026, the Cabin Crew Centered “C”-Galley, proposed by JAXA and JAMCO Corporation, was selected as a finalist in the category of “Cabin Technologies” in the Crystal Cabin Award 2026.

The Crystal Cabin Award is a globally prestigious award that recognizes innovative products and concepts in aircraft cabin interiors. Three finalists were selected for each of the eight categories, such as Accessibility, Passenger Comfort, Sustainable Cabin, and Cabin Technologies. The final viewing and awards ceremony will take place in April during Aircraft Interiors Expo 2026 (AIX 2026), the world’s largest exhibition dedicated to aircraft cabin interiors, held in Hamburg, Germany.

The Cabin Crew Centered “C”-Galley is a new galley concept designed to enhance cabin crew usability and comfort. The concept introduces a completely new layout that separates work zones for meal preparation, drink preparation, and in-flight sales tasks, reducing overlapping traffic to improve operational efficiency. In addition, a wide and open countertop offers cabin crew a comfortable and efficient working environment. The resulting efficiency helps create both time and mental ease, which contributes to enhancing the quality of passenger service, a key source of professional fulfillment for cabin crew. This positive cycle supports stronger airline brand value.
